We, at Crescenzia Wellness Private Limited are a full-service manufacturing firm specializing in hygiene and wellness products. We ensure sound and strong products throughout their lifetime, from design to end use.

The company started operations in 2016 and aims to become a leading manufacturer of biocompatible menstrual cups in India. Crescenzia Wellness designed its own menstrual cups and outsourced its manufacturing to a facility in the USA between 2016 and 2018, unlike many players who rely on importing Chinese menstrual cups as a commodity.

After due diligence, market and technical research, Crescenzia management decided to set up their own factory that manufactures menstrual cups.

MANUFACTURING FACILITY

The production facility is located at Electronic City, Bangalore's IT hub, with an annual production capacity of 35.0 Lakhs units, which will be upgraded to 52.0 L units by March 2024. Both international and pan-Indian logistics are well served by the facility.

•The Indian Medical Device Regulatory Authority (CDSCO) has licensed Crescenzia Wellness to manufacture menstrual cups.

 

•We have implemented the Medical Device Quality Management System (MD-QMS) in accordance with the Medical Device Rules, 2017. Our MD-QMS (ISO 13485) process is approved by the International Accreditation Forum.

 

•The raw materials used at Crescenzia Wellness are sourced from reputable manufacturers, which are compliant with USP Class VI test procedures. They are also tested for biocompatibility, which is mandated by the FDA and the European Parliament.

 

•2002/65/EC - Directive on Restriction of Hazardous Substances.

 

•As per ISO 10993, Crescenzia's menstrual cups are biocompatible for Cytotoxicity, Skin Sensitization, and Vaginal Irritation.

 

From design to end use, we ensure products are sound and strong.

From silicone to menstrual cups, from process compliance to quality control, at every stage, we at Crescenzia strictly follow all regulatory compliances mandated by the Government for manufacturing menstrual cups.

We use USP (United State Pharmacopoeia) recommended USP Class 6 medical grade silicone for manufacturing menstrual cups. As per India’s Medical Devices Rules 2017, menstrual cups fall under the low moderate risk category of medical devices and require a license to manufacture. We are proud to share that we are India’s first menstrual cup manufacturing company to apply and secure the license.

Our staff is technically qualified and strictly adhere to Quality Control and assurance at each stage of manufacturing. At the end of this process we ensure we design and deliver high quality biocompatible (as mandated by the Government) to each and every client end user of our product.
